जीने की रज़ा

A book called 'Caravan Geeton Ka' beautifully written by Neeraj has been on my shelf for a while, and I'm loving every single poem. How can someone just express all their feelings so poetically? It's truly inspiring and makes me feel connected to his words. It's a beautiful reminder of the power that words can have.

जब लिखने के लिए लिखा जाता है तब जो कुछ लिख जाता है उसका नाम है, गद्य, पर जब लिखे बिना न रहा जाए और जो ख़ुद 'लिख-लिख' जाए उसका नाम है कविता।

It's been a while since I posted here. Nevertheless, I am here to present you with yet another Hindi poem. It is a poem that is about the mixed emotions that we face when we try to turn our lives into a beautiful story, when we try to make our bodies into perfect systems, but no matter how hard we try, we can never be perfect. We must accept our flaws and imperfections and find a way to make them part of our story. We must also learn to be content with our imperfections and to embrace who we are. 

The title of the poem is 'जीने की रज़ा' .

चल रहे थे जोखिम भरे राह पर यूं ही, 
नहीं खबर थी कि जो है रास्ता सबसे खूबसूरत
मिलेंगे कांटे और कंकड़ वहीं | 

 

एक है जिंदगी मेरी
और लाखों सपने,
न रह जाए कोई अधूरा
इसलिए बिन सोचे बस चल पड़ी,
उन्ही भेडों की तरह,
न पता था कि मंजिल कहां है
और आगे बढ़ने की वजह |

 

लग रही थी दुनिया बहुत बड़ी
और थी प्रतिस्पर्धा से भरी |
माना था मैंने भी, कि भीड बहुत है
मगर मुझे बनानी थी अपने लिए जगह |

 

लोगों ने रोका है बहुत मगर,
जीना है मुझे ऐसे कि ना ढूंढनी पड़े 
दो पल और जीने की वजह 
और ना ही लेनी पड़े जिंदगी से 
चार दिन और जीने की रज़ा |

 

याद नहीं मुझे वो बेबस लम्हें, 
पर चाहूं कि बन जाए वो स्वर्ण पल, 
जब मेरा ये चंचल मन, 
इस तन की धड़कनो को थाम ले, 
और आत्मा दूसरे शरीर में ले प्रवेश, 
उस वक्त बढ़ जाए वायु की गति, 
और हर दिल की आवाज़, 
हो जाए सबको एहसास 
कि एक सुंदर काया ने दिया है मोह माया हो त्याग |
